Nepal's Electricity Development Department has approved the development of the Dudhkoshi Hydropower Project-5, a 110-megawatt facility to be built on the Dudhkoshi River in Solukhumbu district. The project will be located across wards 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality, as proposed by the developer.
