Nepali Congress Picks Angdembe as Parliamentary Party Leader

The Nepali Congress Central Working Committee reached a consensus on Monday to appoint Bhishmaraj Angdembe as its parliamentary party leader, a decision to be formally endorsed by the parliamentary party. The selection follows weeks of internal dispute and postponements, during which the Supreme Court legitimised President Gagan Thapa's leadership of the party. NC President Thapa has also pledged to bring all party leaders on board for the upcoming 15th general convention.
