काठमाडौं उपत्यका ट्राफिक प्रहरी कार्यालयले मादक पदार्थ सेवन, अवैध राइड-सेयरिङ र तीव्र गतिका साथै ट्राफिक नियम उल्लंघन गर्ने हजारौँ चालकहरूलाई कारबाही गरेको छ। पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा मात्रै १,८५४ चालकहरू कारबाहीमा परेका छन्, जसबाट राज्य कोषमा उल्लेख्य राजस्व संकलन भएको छ। यसका साथै, पटक-पटक नियम उल्लंघन गर्ने ३१ जना चालकको सवारी चालक अनुमति पत्र निलम्बनका लागि यातायात व्यवस्था कार्यालयलाई सिफारिस गरिएको छ। सडक दुर्घटना न्यूनीकरण र सवारी चाप व्यवस्थापनका लागि नागढुङ्गा लगायतका मुख्य नाकाहरूमा निगरानी बढाइएको छ।
