Police Arrest Former Smart Telecom MD and Two Others for Fraud

नेपाल प्रहरीले स्मार्ट टेलिकमका पूर्व प्रबन्ध निर्देशक सर्वेश जोशीलाई ठगी र आपराधिक विश्वासघातको आरोपमा पक्राउ गरेको छ। काठमाडौं जिल्ला अदालतको पक्राउ पुर्जीपछि प्रहरीले यसै प्रकरणमा संलग्न रहेको आरोपमा पालिना श्रेष्ठसहित थप दुई जनालाई पनि नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ। नेपाल दूरसञ्चार प्राधिकरणको समन्वयमा भइरहेको यो अनुसन्धान सेवा प्रदायकको सम्पत्ति दुरुपयोगमा केन्द्रित रहेको छ।

Nepal Police have arrested Sarvesh Joshi, the former Managing Director of Smart Telecom, on charges of fraud and criminal breach of trust. Following an arrest warrant from the Kathmandu District Court, authorities also took Palina Shrestha and another individual into custody in connection with the case. The investigation, supported by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority, focuses on the alleged misuse of the telecom service provider's assets.
