The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Ramesh Sharma, chairman of Sharma & Company, and entrepreneur Pitambar Badu on Monday. The arrests were made following correspondence from the Ministry of Urban Development regarding the alleged abandonment of government contract projects. Officials took the construction entrepreneurs into custody for further investigation into the incomplete infrastructure works.
