अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय द्वन्द्वका कारण इन्धन र निर्माण सामग्रीको मूल्यमा भएको अत्यधिक वृद्धिका कारण नेपालको निर्माण क्षेत्र गम्भीर संकटमा परेको छ। नेपाल निर्माण व्यवसायी महासंघ लगायतका संस्थाहरूले मूल्य समायोजन र भुक्तानीको माग गर्दै देशभर विरोध प्रदर्शन र धर्ना सुरु गरेका छन्। सरकारले काम नगर्ने १४ निर्माण कम्पनीहरूलाई कालोसूचीमा राखेको भए तापनि पूर्वाधार मन्त्री र सरकारी अधिकारीहरूले निर्माण क्षेत्रमा देखिएको यो ऐतिहासिक मूल्यवृद्धिलाई सम्बोधन गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता जनाएका छन्।
