नेपालद्वारा कम विकसित मुलुकबाट स्तरोन्नति हुने प्रक्रिया सन् २०२९ सम्म सार्न संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघलाई अनुरोध

नेपाल सरकारले कम विकसित मुलुक (एलडिसी) को श्रेणीबाट स्तरोन्नति हुने प्रक्रियालाई सन् २०२६ नोभेम्बरबाट सारेर सन् २०२९ नोभेम्बर पुर्‍याउन संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघलाई औपचारिक अनुरोध गरेको छ। परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता लोकबहादुर पौडेल क्षेत्रीका अनुसार सन् २०२६ मे १३ मा संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघको विकास नीति समितिमा यससम्बन्धी प्रस्ताव पेश गरिएको हो। आर्थिक चुनौती र थप तयारीको आवश्यकतालाई कारण देखाउँदै सरकारले तीन वर्षको समय थप गर्न माग गरेको छ। सन् १९७१ देखि कम विकसित मुलुकको सूचीमा रहेको नेपालले सन् २०१५ मा पहिलोपटक स्तरोन्नतिका लागि मापदण्ड पुरा गरेको थियो।
