नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणले काठमाडौंको चक्रपथभित्र भरपर्दो विद्युत आपूर्तिका लागि ११.९२ किलोमिटर लामो १३२ केभी भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण गर्ने भएको छ। यो प्रसारण लाइनले बालाजु सबस्टेशनलाई महाराजगञ्ज, नारायणहिटी दरबार संग्रहालय क्षेत्र र रत्नपार्क हुँदै सिंहदरबारसँग जोड्नेछ। यस आयोजनाको मुख्य उद्देश्य शहरी सौन्दर्यमा सुधार ल्याउनु र राजधानीको विद्युत खपत क्षमता बढाउनु रहेको छ। यो पहल शहरको विद्युत पूर्वाधारलाई आधुनिक बनाउने र ओभरहेड तारहरूको व्यवस्थापन गर्ने प्रयासको एक हिस्सा हो।
