२०६५ जेठ १५ गते संविधानसभाको पहिलो बैठकले नेपाललाई सङ्घीय लोकतान्त्रिक गणतन्त्र घोषणा गरेको सम्झनामा आज देशभर १९औँ गणतन्त्र दिवस मनाइँदैछ। यस अवसरमा काठमाडौँको टुँडिखेलमा विशेष समारोह आयोजना गरिएको छ भने राष्ट्रपतिले देशवासीका नाममा शुभकामना सन्देश दिनुभएको छ। २४० वर्ष लामो राजतन्त्रको अन्त्य गरी मुलुकमा गणतन्त्र स्थापना भएको ऐतिहासिक दिनको सम्झनामा सरकारले आज सार्वजनिक बिदा समेत दिएको छ।
