सुनसरी जिल्लाको धरान औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा पाँच नयाँ उत्पादनमूलक उद्योगहरू सञ्चालनका लागि अनुमति दिइएको छ। लामो समयदेखि निष्क्रिय रहेका उद्योगहरूको जग्गा सम्झौता रद्द गरी नयाँ आन्तरिक लगानीका लागि बाटो खोलिएको हो। जीव नारायण बन्जाडेका अनुसार चालू आर्थिक वर्षको अन्त्यसम्ममा यी नयाँ उद्योगहरूमा करिब ३५ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको लगानी हुनेछ।
