कञ्चनपुरको बेलौरी नगरपालिकाले स्वच्छ ऊर्जालाई प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने उद्देश्यले चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा २५० घरधुरीमा बायोगास प्लान्ट जडान गरेको छ। उपप्रमुख जोगराम चौधरीका अनुसार दाउरा र एलपीजी ग्यासको खपत कम गरी वातावरण संरक्षण र जनस्वास्थ्यमा सुधार ल्याउन यो कार्यक्रम ल्याइएको हो। नगरपालिकाले आफ्नो कुल बजेटको १४ प्रतिशत हिस्सा यस दिगो ऊर्जा पूर्वाधार परियोजनाका लागि विनियोजन गरेको थियो।
