गत आर्थिक वर्षमा वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा जाने नेपालीको संख्या ५.६० प्रतिशतले घटेर ७ लाख ९२ हजार १८७ कायम भएको छ। वैदेशिक रोजगार विभागको तथ्याङ्क अनुसार कुल प्रस्थान संख्या घटे पनि श्रम स्वीकृति लिने महिलाको अनुपात बढेर ११.२५ प्रतिशत पुगेको छ। समग्रमा कामदारको संख्या घटे पनि १०० भन्दा बढी देशमा जाने महिला कामदारको संख्यामा भने विगत पाँच वर्षमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि देखिएको छ।
