प्रधानमन्त्री शाहले नेपालको हस्तकला क्षेत्रको प्रवर्द्धनका लागि हस्तकला विकास बोर्ड स्थापना गर्न सरकार सकारात्मक रहेको बताउनुभएको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयमा भएको भेटमा नेपाल हस्तकला महासंघका प्रतिनिधिहरूले परम्परागत कलाको संरक्षणबारे छलफल गरेका थिए। हस्तकला निर्यात मार्फत राष्ट्रिय अर्थतन्त्रमा सुधार ल्याउन महासंघसँग मिलेर काम गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता प्रधानमन्त्रीले व्यक्त गर्नुभयो।
