आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा नेपालले विद्युत निर्यातबाट २९.३२ अर्ब रुपैयाँ आम्दानी गर्दै नयाँ रेकर्ड कायम गरेको छ। नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणका अनुसार यो अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा ६७.९६ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि हो। यस अवधिमा नेपालले विद्युत व्यापारबाट १८.७६ अर्ब रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गर्न सफल भएको छ।
