एम्नेस्टी इन्टरनेशनल, ह्युमन राइट्स वाच र इन्टरनेशनल कमिसन अफ जुरिस्टले नेपालको न्यायपालिकामा बढ्दो राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेपप्रति गम्भीर चिन्ता व्यक्त गरेका छन्। एक संयुक्त विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै यी संस्थाहरूले सर्वोच्च अदालतका वरिष्ठ न्यायाधीशहरूलाई राजीनामा दिन दबाब दिइएको र महाभियोगको धम्की दिइएको आरोप लगाएका छन्। यस्ता कार्यले नेपालको न्यायिक स्वतन्त्रता र विधिको शासनलाई कमजोर बनाउने उनीहरूको चेतावनी छ। ती संस्थाहरूले न्याय प्रणालीको निष्ठामा आँच पुर्याउने गतिविधिहरू तत्काल रोक्न नेपाली अधिकारीहरूलाई आग्रह गरेका छन्।
