सर्वोच्च अदालतले काठमाडौं उपत्यकाका नदी किनारका अतिक्रमण हटाउने क्रममा विस्थापित भएका बालबालिकाको शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य र आवासको अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न अन्तरिम आदेश जारी गरेको छ। न्यायाधीश सपना प्रधान मल्लको एकल इजलासले सुकुम्बासी बस्ती हटाउँदा विस्थापित भएका बालबालिकाको मौलिक हकको ग्यारेन्टी गर्न सरकारलाई निर्देशन दिएको हो। अदालतले विस्थापनका कारण बालबालिकाको शिक्षा र स्वास्थ्यमा गम्भीर असर परेको उल्लेख गरेको छ।
