निर्वाचन आयोगले मृतक मतदाताहरूको नाम नामावलीबाट हटाउन परिवारका सदस्य र सरोकारवालाहरूलाई आग्रह गरेको छ। आयोगका सहसचिव नारायण प्रसाद भट्टराईले एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै मतदाता नामावलीलाई अद्यावधिक, विश्वसनीय र वस्तुनिष्ठ बनाउन यस्तो अनुरोध गर्नुभएको हो। काठमाडौंस्थित आयोगले निर्वाचन प्रक्रियाको निष्पक्षताका लागि नियमित रूपमा नामावली अद्यावधिक गर्ने कार्यलाई निरन्तरता दिइरहेको छ।
