चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को पहिलो महिनामा नेपालमा वैदेशिक प्रत्यक्ष लगानी (एफडीआई) प्रतिबद्धतामा भारी गिरावट आएर ३.७७ अर्ब रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ। उद्योग विभागका अनुसार यो रकम गत वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा निकै कम हो। यस अवधिमा जम्मा १९१ वटा उद्योग तथा आयोजनाहरूले वैदेशिक लगानीको प्रतिबद्धता प्राप्त गरेका छन्।
