बन्द रहेका उद्योगहरू पुनः सञ्चालन गर्ने सरकारको अभियान अन्तर्गत वीरगन्ज चिनी कारखानाको सम्भाव्यता अध्ययनका लागि सरकारी कार्यदलले स्थलगत निरीक्षण गरेको छ। उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा आपूर्ति मन्त्रालयका सिनियर डिभिजनल इन्जिनियर श्रीकान्त यादवको संयोजकत्वमा रहेको टोलीले पिपरास्थित कारखानाको भवन, मेसिनरी र पार्टपुर्जाहरूको अवस्था जाँच गरेको हो। मन्त्रालयले गत भदौ २ गते (अगस्ट १८) मा यो कार्यदल गठन गरेको थियो। टोलीले कारखानाको वर्तमान अवस्था र यसलाई पुनः सञ्चालन गर्न आवश्यक पर्ने स्रोतहरूको मूल्याङ्कन गर्नेछ।
