नेपाल रेडक्रस सोसाइटीले आज 'मानवताका लागि ऐक्यबद्धता' भन्ने नाराका साथ आफ्नो ६४ औं स्थापना दिवस मनाइरहेको छ। यस अवसरमा संस्थाले भोटेकोशी नदीको बाढीबाट प्रभावित क्षेत्रहरूमा सहयोगका लागि ५,००० स्वयंसेवकहरू परिचालन गरेको छ। सन् १९६३ सेप्टेम्बर ४ मा स्थापना भएको यो संस्थाले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय रेडक्रस अभियानको अभिन्न अंगका रूपमा आफ्नो मानवीय सेवा जारी राखेको छ।
