रसुवा र भोटेकोशी क्षेत्रमा आएको विनाशकारी बाढीपछि नेपालले गरेको आपतकालीन आर्थिक सहायताको अनुरोधमा 'हानि र नोक्सानी कोष' (FRLD) ले प्रतिक्रिया दिएको छ। जलवायु परिवर्तनका कारण बाढी आएको तर्क गर्दै नेपालले सेप्टेम्बर १ मा संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय जलवायु परिवर्तन संरचना अन्तर्गतको यस कोषसँग २० मिलियन डलर क्षतिपूर्ति माग गरेको थियो। बाढीबाट भएको ठूलो आर्थिक र वातावरणीय क्षतिलाई सम्बोधन गर्न नेपालले यो पहल गरेको हो। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जलवायु वित्त परिचालनका लागि नेपालले चालेको यो कदमलाई महत्वपूर्ण मानिएको छ।
