देशभर भारी वर्षा, बाढीपहिरो र उच्च सतर्कता जारी

सेप्टेम्बरको अन्त्यदेखि परेको अविरल वर्षाका कारण देशभर बाढी, पहिरो र नदीको जलस्तर बढेपछि जल तथा मौसम विज्ञान विभागले पाँचदिने विशेष मौसम चेतावनी जारी गर्दै ६० भन्दा बढी जिल्लामा रेड अलर्ट जारी गरेको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री बालेन्द्र शाह र राष्ट्रिय सभा अध्यक्ष नारायणप्रसाद दाहालले नदी किनार र पहाडी क्षेत्रका बासिन्दालगायत सर्वसाधारणलाई उच्च सतर्कता अपनाउन आग्रह गरेका छन्। मनाङमा भारी हिमपात र बाढीका कारण सयौं पर्यटक अलपत्र परेका छन् भने नारायणी पुलमा भारी सवारीसाधनमा रोक लगाइएको छ र पोखराको रामघाटमा सेती नदीले ताल बनाएको छ। मकवानपुरको बकैया गाउँपालिका-६ ज्यामिरेका बासिन्दा दुई वर्ग किलोमिटर क्षेत्रमा जमिन चिरा परी धसिएपछि त्रसित बनेका छन्।
