विशेष प्रयोजनका विद्यालयलाई स्वायत्त र प्रभावकारी रूपमा सञ्चालन गर्न सकिने व्यवस्थासहित शिक्षा ऐनमा समेट्न सरोकारवालाहरूले माग गरेका छन्। शिक्षा तथा खेलकुद मन्त्रालयले काठमाडौंमा आयोजना गरेको परामर्श कार्यक्रममा विशेष प्रयोजनका लागि स्थापित विद्यालयका पदाधिकारी तथा सरोकारवालाहरूले यस्तो सुझाव दिएका हुन्। शिक्षा ऐनको मस्यौदा तयार गर्ने प्रक्रियाका क्रममा उक्त छलफल आयोजना गरिएको थियो।
