काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाका सात वडामा रहेको कुल ३०२ रोपनी (१५.३६ हेक्टर) जग्गा नेपाल सरकारको नाममा दर्ता भएको छ। सरकारी तथा सार्वजनिक जग्गा सम्बन्धी रावल आयोगको आर्थिक वर्ष १९९५/९६ को प्रतिवेदन कार्यान्वयन गर्ने क्रममा डिल्लीबजारस्थित मालपोत कार्यालयले उक्त जग्गा निजी स्वामित्वबाट हटाएको हो। सरकारी तथा सार्वजनिक जग्गा छानबिन तथा संरक्षण उच्चस्तरीय आयोगको सिफारिसका आधारमा यो प्रक्रिया अघि बढाइएको हो।
