छठ पर्वअघि वीरगन्जमा सिर्सिया नदी सफाई अभियान तीव्र

छठ पर्वलाई लक्षित गर्दै वीरगन्जमा सिर्सिया नदीको सफाई तथा प्रदूषण नियन्त्रण अभियान तीव्र बनाइएको छ। उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा आपूर्ति मन्त्रालयको सक्रिय पहलमा नदी सफाई, औद्योगिक प्रदूषण नियन्त्रण र वातावरण संरक्षणलाई प्राथमिकता दिइएको छ। प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी भोला दाहालको अध्यक्षतामा बसेको सर्वदलीय बैठकले छठ पर्वका बेला सिर्सिया नदीमा फोहोर नफाल्ने र उद्योगहरूलाई उपचार नगरिएको फोहोर पानी तथा रसायन मिसाइएको पानी नदीमा नछोड्न निर्देशन दिने निर्णय गरेको छ। प्रदूषण गर्ने उद्योगहरूको अनुगमन कडा बनाइएको छ र १२ उद्योगलाई १ करोड २० लाख रुपैयाँ जरिवाना लगाइएको छ। यी उपायले छठ भक्तजनका लागि स्वच्छ पानी र सुरक्षित वातावरण सुनिश्चित गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेका छन्।
