प्रधानमन्त्री बालेन्द्र शाहले अप्रिल २० मा सिंहदरबारमा विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपतिहरूलाई क्याम्पसबाट दलीय विद्यार्थी तथा कर्मचारी संगठनहरू तत्काल हटाउन निर्देशन दिए। यो निर्देशन विश्वविद्यालय तथा स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रका शैक्षिक संस्थाहरूमा दलीय संरचना हटाउने सरकारी निर्णयअनुसार जारी गरिएको हो, र अवरोध भएमा सुरक्षा सहायता उपलब्ध गराइने बताइएको छ। यस कदमको विरुद्ध विद्यार्थी संगठन र राजनीतिक दलहरूले कडा आपत्ति जनाएका छन्।
