नेपाल सरकारले आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको नीति तथा कार्यक्रम सार्वजनिक गर्दै सञ्चार तथा सूचना प्रविधि क्षेत्रलाई विशेष प्राथमिकतामा राखेको छ। यस कार्यक्रममा डिजिटल पूर्वाधारको विस्तार, साइबर सुरक्षा सुदृढीकरण र 'डिजिटल नेपाल फ्रेमवर्क' को कार्यान्वयनलाई मुख्य जोड दिइएको छ। साथै, प्रविधिको विकासलाई सहज बनाउन सञ्चार तथा सूचना प्रविधि मन्त्रालयको संरचनागत सुधार गर्ने लक्ष्य समेत लिइएको छ।
