बजेट अभावका कारण दुर्लभ एकसिंगे गैँडाको गणना लगातार दोस्रो वर्ष पनि स्थगित भएको छ। सामान्यतया प्रत्येक चार वर्षमा गरिने यो गणना अब आगामी वर्ष मात्र गरिने अधिकारीहरूले बताएका छन्। यस वर्ष बाघको गणना पनि भइरहेकाले प्राथमिकताका आधारमा गैँडा गणना सारिएको हो। यो गणना चितवन लगायतका संरक्षित क्षेत्रहरूमा गर्ने योजना थियो।
