वन क्षेत्रको आधारमा नेपाल दक्षिण एसियामा दोस्रो स्थानमा

आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण अनुसार नेपाल दक्षिण एसियामा वन क्षेत्रको आधारमा दोस्रो स्थानमा रहेको छ। सर्वेक्षणका अनुसार नेपालको कुल भूभागको ४६.०८ प्रतिशत क्षेत्र वनले ओगटेको छ भने ६९.७१ प्रतिशत वन क्षेत्र भएको भुटान पहिलो स्थानमा छ। यसैगरी श्रीलंका ३४.१ प्रतिशत र भारत २१.७१ प्रतिशत वन क्षेत्रका साथ क्रमशः अन्य स्थानमा रहेका छन्।
