अमेरिका चोरी गरी लगिएको १३ औं शताब्दीको शाक्यमुनि बुद्धको ढुङ्गे मूर्ति काठमाडौंको न्हुछेबहालमा सफलतापूर्वक पुनःस्थापना गरिएको छ। काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका, पुरातत्व विभाग र हेरिटेज प्रोजेक्टको संयुक्त प्रयासमा यो मूर्ति पुनःस्थापना गरिएको हो। अमेरिकामा फेला परेपछि पुरातत्व विभागको समन्वयमा नेपाल ल्याइएको उक्त प्राचीन मूर्तिलाई एक समारोहका बीच पुरानै स्थानमा राखिएको छ।
