मेलम्ची खानेपानी आयोजनाको मुहान क्षेत्रमा आएको बाढी र धमिलोपनाका कारण काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा पानी आपूर्ति बुधबारदेखि अस्थायी रूपमा बन्द गरिएको छ। भारी वर्षाका कारण मेलम्ची नदीमा पानी धमिलो भएपछि सुन्दरीजलस्थित प्रशोधन केन्द्रमा पानी पठाउन कठिन भएको हो। काठमाडौं उपत्यका खानेपानी लिमिटेडका प्रवक्ता वीरबहादुर चन्दका अनुसार प्रशोधन प्रक्रियामा समस्या आएपछि सावधानीका लागि आपूर्ति रोकिएको हो।
