वर्तमान सरकारको पहिलो १०० दिनमा कृषि, वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्रालयले उल्लेख्य प्रगति हासिल गरेको दाबी गरेको छ। मन्त्रालयका अनुसार यस अवधिमा कार्बन व्यापारका लागि कोष परिचालन र विकास निर्माणका लागि वातावरणीय प्रभाव मूल्याङ्कन (ईआईए) प्रक्रियालाई सहज बनाइएको छ। यसका साथै वन व्यवस्थापन, जलवायु वित्त र वन्यजन्तु संरक्षणका क्षेत्रमा पनि महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल भएको मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ।
