बढ्दो गर्मीका कारण सर्पहरू मानव बस्ती नजिक आउन थालेपछि सर्लाही जिल्लामा सर्पदंशका घटनाहरूमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि भएको छ। लालबन्दी नगरपालिका-१ स्थित नवलपुरमा रहेको सर्पदंश उपचार केन्द्रले गत वर्षको तुलनामा यस वर्ष बिरामीको संख्या बढी रहेको जनाएको छ। केन्द्रका स्वास्थ्य सहायक जगन्नाथ यादवका अनुसार जुलाईको पहिलो सातासम्म सर्पदंशका बिरामीहरूको चाप निकै बढेको छ।
