नेपालभर मनसुन सक्रिय रहे पनि मधेस र लुम्बिनी प्रदेशका केही भागमा अपेक्षाभन्दा कम वर्षा भएको जल तथा मौसम विज्ञान विभागले जनाएको छ। वरिष्ठ मौसमविद् मीनकुमार अर्यालका अनुसार अघिल्लो पूर्वानुमानको तुलनामा यी प्रदेशका तराई क्षेत्रमा औसतभन्दा कम वर्षा रेकर्ड गरिएको छ। हाल मनसुनी प्रणालीले देशभर प्रभाव पारे पनि वर्षा अन्य क्षेत्रमा बढी केन्द्रित भएको छ।
