मधेश प्रदेश सरकारले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा कुल बजेटको ५६.३१ प्रतिशत खर्च गरेको छ। जनकपुरधामस्थित प्रदेश कोष तथा लेखा नियन्त्रक कार्यालयका अनुसार विनियोजित ४६ अर्ब ९८ करोड ३ लाख रुपैयाँमध्ये २६ अर्ब ४५ करोड ६ लाख रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको हो। यस अवधिमा चालु तर्फ ६०.६९ प्रतिशत र पुँजीगत तर्फ ५४.१३ प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च भएको विवरण सार्वजनिक गरिएको छ।
