गत आर्थिक वर्षमा चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज र यसको मध्यवर्ती सामुदायिक वन क्षेत्रमा पर्यटकको आगमनमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि भएको छ। अघिल्लो वर्ष २ लाख ३१ हजार ३ सय २९ पर्यटकले भ्रमण गरेकोमा गत वर्ष यो संख्या बढेर २ लाख ७२ हजार ९ सय २३ पुगेको छ। निकुञ्जका सूचना अधिकारी अविनाश थापा मगरका अनुसार यस अवधिमा २७ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी राजस्व संकलन भएको छ।
