जल तथा मौसम विज्ञान विभागले देशका २१ जिल्लामा भारी वर्षाको प्रक्षेपण गरेपछि राष्ट्रिय विपद् जोखिम न्यूनीकरण तथा व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण (NDRRMA) ले पूर्वतयारी तीव्र पारेको छ। सरकारले बाढी र पहिरोको जोखिम मूल्याङ्कन गरेपछि मात्र प्रभावित क्षेत्रमा सवारी साधन सञ्चालन गर्न दिने निर्णय गरेको छ। प्राधिकरणका निमित्त कार्यकारी प्रमुख प्रदीप कुमार कोइरालाले मनसुनजन्य विपद् न्यूनीकरणका लागि यस्तो कदम चालिएको बताउनुभयो। विभागले नागरिकको सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न मौसमको निरन्तर अनुगमन गरिरहेको छ।
