चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जले गत आर्थिक वर्षमा वन्यजन्तुबाट प्रभावित बस्तीहरूलाई करिब १२.९ मिलियन रुपैयाँ राहत सहायता वितरण गरेको छ। निकुञ्जका सूचना अधिकारी अविनाश थापा मगरका अनुसार उक्त मुआब्जा मानवीय क्षति, घाइतेहरूको उपचार र पशुधनको क्षतिका लागि प्रदान गरिएको हो। यस राहत रकमले निकुञ्ज वरपरका क्षेत्रमा बालीनाली, भण्डारण गरिएको खाद्यान्न र घरगोठ जस्ता भौतिक संरचनामा भएको क्षतिको समेत सम्बोधन गरेको छ।
