अमेरिकी तल्लो सदन 'हाउस अफ रिप्रिजेन्टेटिभ्स' ले आर्थिक वर्ष २०२७ का लागि १.१५ ट्रिलियन डलरको राष्ट्रिय रक्षा प्राधिकरण ऐन (NDAA) पारित गरेको छ। २१६-२१२ को झिनो मतान्तरले पारित भएको यस विधेयकमा पेन्टागनका लागि अभूतपूर्व बजेट विनियोजन गरिएको छ। इरान र इजरायलसँग सम्बन्धित प्रावधान तथा ठूलो खर्चका कारण डेमोक्र्याट सदस्यहरूले विरोध गरे तापनि यो विधेयक पारित भएको हो।

The U.S. House of Representatives narrowly passed its version of a massive defense policy bill on Wednesday, despite Democrats' concerns about its huge price tag, the Iran war and a provision that would boost Pentagon ties to Israel, Reuters reported. The fiscal 2027 National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, which authorizes an unprecedented $1.15 trillion in spending for the military, passed the House by 216 to 212.
