स्वास्थ्यकर्मी र स्वास्थ्य संस्थामाथि हुने आक्रमण तथा तोडफोडका घटना बढेपछि स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयले 'स्वास्थ्यकर्मी तथा स्वास्थ्य संस्था सुरक्षा समन्वय समिति' लाई पुनः सक्रिय बनाउने प्रक्रिया सुरु गरेको छ। विगत केही वर्षदेखि निष्क्रिय रहेको यो समितिलाई स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रको सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न परिचालन गर्न लागिएको हो। मन्त्रालयले हालैका हिंसात्मक घटनाका बाबजुद सबै अस्पतालहरूलाई सेवा प्रवाहमा अवरोध नगर्न निर्देशन समेत दिएको छ। काठमाडौं लगायतका क्षेत्रमा चिकित्सकहरूमाथि भएका दुर्व्यवहारपछि यो कदम चालिएको हो।
