नेपालका लागि युरोपेली संघ (ईयू) की राजदूत भेरोनिक लोरेन्जोले आफ्नो कार्यकाल पूरा गरी राष्ट्रपति रामचन्द्र पौडेल र उपराष्ट्रपति रामसहाय प्रसाद यादवसँग बिदाइ भेट गर्नुभएको छ। उहाँले परराष्ट्रमन्त्री शिशिर खनाल र शिक्षा मन्त्री सस्मित पोखरेलसँग पनि भेट गरी द्विपक्षीय सम्बन्ध र आपसी हितका विषयमा छलफल गर्नुभयो। भेटका क्रममा नेपालको शिक्षा क्षेत्रको सुधार, प्राविधिक शिक्षा र डिजिटल सिकाइमा ईयूको निरन्तर सहयोगबारे चर्चा गरिएको थियो। नेपाली अधिकारीहरूले नेपाल र युरोपेली संघबीचको सम्बन्धलाई मजबुत बनाउन राजदूत लोरेन्जोले खेल्नुभएको भूमिकाको प्रशंसा गरेका छन्।
नेपालका लागि युरोपेली संघकी राजदूत भेरोनिक लोरेन्जोले शिक्षा तथा खेलकुद मन्त्री सस्मित पोखरेलसँग भेट गरी विद्यालय सुधार र प्राविधिक शिक्षामा निरन्तर सहयोग गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता जनाउनुभएको छ। मन्त्रालयमा भएको उक्त भेटमा उहाँले डिजिटल शिक्षा र शिक्षकको व्यावसायिक विकासमा सहकार्य गर्ने कुरामा जोड दिनुभयो। आफ्नो कूटनीतिक कार्यकाल पूरा गर्दै राजदूत लोरेन्जोले उपराष्ट्रपति रामसहाय प्रसाद यादवसँग पनि बिदाइ भेट गर्नुभएको छ। उपराष्ट्रपति यादवले काठमाडौंमा आफ्नो कार्यकाल सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरेकोमा राजदूत लोरेन्जोलाई बधाई दिनुभयो।
