सुनसरी र सिराहामा भएका झडप र मृत्युका घटनाबारे छानबिन गर्न गठित समितिहरूले गृहमन्त्री सुदन गुरुङलाई आफ्नो प्रतिवेदन बुझाएका छन्। गृह मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता रामा आचार्यका अनुसार मंगलबार बुझाइएका यी प्रतिवेदनहरूको अध्ययनपछि आवश्यक कारबाही अगाडि बढाइनेछ। यसैबीच, गृहमन्त्री गुरुङले राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टीको आन्तरिक विवाद र संसदीय समितिहरूमा सुरक्षा अधिकारीहरूमाथि गरिने व्यवहारका बारेमा पनि चासो व्यक्त गर्नुभएको छ।

    गृहमन्त्री सुदन गुरुङले नेपाल प्रहरीका महानिरीक्षक (आईजीपी) दानबहादुर कार्कीमाथि संसदीय समितिमा भएको व्यवहारप्रति असन्तुष्टि व्यक्त गर्नुभएको छ। शुक्रबार कानुन, न्याय तथा मानव अधिकार समितिको बैठकमा बोल्दै मन्त्री गुरुङले सार्वजनिक लेखा समितिको बैठकमा प्रहरी प्रमुखमाथि गरिएको व्यवहारका बारेमा प्रश्न उठाउनुभएको हो। उहाँले संसदीय कारबाहीका क्रममा सुरक्षा अधिकारीहरूप्रति व्यावसायिक सम्मान कायम राख्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभयो। यसअघि सांसदहरूले गृह सचिव र प्रहरी प्रमुखप्रति अमर्यादित व्यवहार गरेको भन्दै आलोचना भएको थियो।
