राष्ट्रिय विपद् जोखिम न्यूनीकरण तथा व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण (NDRRMA) ले पश्चिम नेपालका पहिरो प्रभावित क्षेत्रमा प्रारम्भिक भौगर्भिक अध्ययन गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। काठमाडौंमा आइतबार बसेको मनसुन पूर्वतयारी तथा प्रतिकार्य कमान्ड पोस्टको बैठकले थवाङ लगायतका क्षेत्रमा अध्ययन गर्ने योजना तय गरेको हो। हालैको मनसुनजन्य पहिरोपछि माटोको स्थिरता मूल्याङ्कन गर्न र भविष्यमा हुने जोखिम कम गर्न यो पहल सुरु गरिएको हो।
