भोटेकोशी नदीमा आएको बाढीका कारण रसुवाका चिलिमे र माथिल्लो त्रिशूली-१ जलविद्युत आयोजनाका सुरुङमा फसेका नौ जनाको शव बुधबार फेला पारिएको छ। नेपाली सेना, सशस्त्र प्रहरी बल र नेपाल प्रहरीको टोलीले भारत र चीनका प्राविधिक विज्ञहरूको सहयोगमा खोजी तथा उद्धार कार्य जारी राखेका छन्। नेपाली सेनाले विभिन्न जलविद्युत आयोजनाका सुरुङभित्र करिब १२१ जना फसेको हुनसक्ने अनुमान गरेको छ र उद्धार कार्यलाई तीव्रता दिएको छ।

भोटेकोशी नदीमा आएको विनाशकारी बाढीपछि रसुवाको लाङटाङ खोला जलविद्युत आयोजना र चिलिमे जलविद्युत आयोजनाको सुरुङबाट दुई-दुई जनाको शव निकालिएको छ। नेपाली सेना, भारत र चीनका विशेषज्ञ प्राविधिक टोलीहरूले माथिल्लो त्रिशूली-३ 'ए' र रसुवागढी लगायतका विभिन्न आयोजनाका सुरुङमा फसेका कामदारहरूको खोजी गरिरहेका छन्। केही सुरुङहरू खाली भेटिए पनि हिलो र कठिन भूगोलका कारण उद्धार कार्यमा बाधा पुगेको छ। गृहमन्त्री सुदन गुरुङले सुरुङभित्र फसेकाहरूलाई निकाल्न माथिबाट ड्रिलिङ गर्ने जस्ता वैकल्पिक उपायहरूका बारेमा सरकारले छलफल गरिरहेको जानकारी दिनुभएको छ।
