उत्तर कोरियाले आफ्नो मुख्य आणविक केन्द्र योङ्गब्योनमा दुई तले नयाँ युरेनियम संवर्द्धन केन्द्र निर्माण गरेको छ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय आणविक ऊर्जा एजेन्सी (IAEA) का अनुसार यस भवनमा २८ वटा सेन्ट्रीफ्यूज क्यास्केडहरू राख्न सकिने क्षमता रहेको छ। एजेन्सीका प्रमुखले यस विकासप्रति गम्भीर चिन्ता व्यक्त गर्दै प्योङयाङले उक्त स्थानमा विस्तारित एनेक्स सञ्चालन गर्न थालेको समेत जानकारी दिएका छन्।
