विज्ञान, प्रविधि तथा नवप्रवर्तनमन्त्री महाबीर पुनले राष्ट्रिय फरेन्सिक प्रयोगशालाको आधुनिकीकरण गर्न सरकार प्रतिबद्ध रहेको बताएका छन्। काठमाडौंमा शुक्रबार बसेको राष्ट्रिय सभाको बैठकमा बोल्दै उनले राष्ट्रिय फरेन्सिक प्रयोगशाला (स्थापना तथा सञ्चालन) विधेयक, २०८१ को आवश्यकतामा जोड दिए। प्रयोगशाला लामो समयदेखि सीमित रूपमा सञ्चालन हुँदै आएको उल्लेख गर्दै पुनले प्रस्तावित विधेयकको महत्त्व औंल्याए।
