नेपाली कांग्रेसले पार्टी नेतृत्व व्यवस्थापन गर्न पदाधिकारीको संख्या १७ बाट २१ पुर्‍याउने प्रस्ताव गरेको छ। महासचिव प्रदीप पौडेलको नेतृत्वमा रहेको विधान संशोधन समितिले नेतृत्वका लागि आकांक्षी धेरै भएकाले यो प्रस्ताव अघि सारेको हो। प्रस्तावित संरचनाअनुसार पार्टीमा एक अध्यक्ष, एक वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष र थप केन्द्रीय सदस्यहरू रहनेछन्। आकांक्षीहरूलाई समेट्न विधान संशोधन गरी केन्द्रीय समिति विस्तार गर्न लागिएको छ।
