जलवायुजन्य विपद्बारे नेपालले प्रस्तुत गरेको आपतकालीन प्रस्ताव तान्जानियाको अरुशामा सम्पन्न १५३औँ अन्तरसंसदीय संघ (आईपीयू) महासभामा दुई तिहाइ बहुमतले पारित भएको छ। अरुशामा रहेको नेपाली प्रतिनिधिमण्डलले आईपीयू सचिवालयसँग जलवायु आपतकालसम्बन्धी एजेन्डामा छलफल गर्दै भोटेकोशी र त्रिशूली नदीको बाढी तथा जलवायु परिवर्तनका कारण हिमाली क्षेत्रमा बढ्दो विपत्तिबारे कुरा उठाएको छ। प्रतिनिधिमण्डल १५३औँ आईपीयू महासभामा सहभागी हुन अरुशा पुगेको हो।
