उद्योगपति तथा नेपाली कांग्रेसका नेता बिनोद चौधरीले काठमाडौंमा जारी १५औं महाधिवेशनमा पार्टीको उपसभापति पदका लागि उम्मेदवारी घोषणा गरेका छन्। उनले युवा नेतृत्व स्थापित गर्न र नेपालको आर्थिक रूपान्तरणमा नयाँ अध्याय सुरु गर्न चुनाव लड्ने निर्णय गरेको बताए। गण्डकी प्रदेशका मुख्यमन्त्री तथा नेपाली कांग्रेसका केन्द्रीय सदस्य सुरेन्द्रराज पाण्डेले पनि सोही पदका लागि उम्मेदवारी घोषणा गरेका छन्। पाण्डे यसअघि बहिर्गमन हुन लागेका सभापति शेरबहादुर देउवा र उपसभापति पूर्णबहादुर खड्काका निकट मानिन्थे।
