हालै आएका बाढी, पहिरो र जलवायुजन्य विपद्ले देशको पूर्वाधारमा करिब २२७ अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको प्रारम्भिक क्षति पुर्‍याएको छ। पूर्वाधार विकास मन्त्रालयका सचिव पद्म कुमार मैनालीले हिमालयमा जलवायु परिवर्तनको प्रभाव, जलवायु न्याय तथा सम्बन्धित विषयसम्बन्धी संसदीय विशेष समितिको बैठकमा उक्त तथ्यांक प्रस्तुत गरेका हुन्। पुनर्निर्माणका लागि तत्काल ६३ अर्ब रुपैयाँ आवश्यक रहेको पनि जनाइएको छ। बैठक काठमाडौंमा भएको थियो।
